Because he doesn’t produce anything whatsoever. Him or Finney Smith. DFS doesn’t have any injuries either and still didn’t play. I’ve been preaching for months now that we gotta trade them both and to give holiday more minutes. Holiday is better than Okogie and Finney smith. Not necessarily statistically but in the times when it matters he does what’s needed. Plus, this is my personal opinion, he’s just overall more consistent, proficient, and efficient than the both of them. AND HE GETS PAID LESS. Plus look how this game went, which proves what happens when they don’t play. Finney smith went to the lakers purely because Dallas was more than willing to trade him and the lakers thought he would play better with Luka. He didn’t do anything in LA either. Okogie started how many games didn’t do anything. Homeboy been in the league for damn near a decade and his career averages are 6 points a game and 1 assist a game…. The fact he’s even still in the league is mind boggling to me.

Pelicans are always going to be that team with players that as soon as they not on the team anymore you’ll see how good they really are.Herb Trey Zion Queen are all so good they just on this shitty team

wtf are you talking about? Anyone who played here and is balling out on another team was also balling out here. You can’t name not one person who got better after leaving here? I’m not talking team’s success I’m talking individual success. This a dumbass take!

Alpi has been low-key carrying since he got back, and tonight he killed it. They play better with more motion, and running through alpi.
They just need a guard like Kingston Flemings. If they are serious about winning they should go after him, to put him in the group with alpi, amen, jabari, and reed.

Did the announcer just say smith Jr was “only a 36% 3pt shooter” and categorize him as a medoicre shooter? That’s pretty decent but its not lights out. Hes a great stretch PF

Exactly, how many 6’11 guys shoot 36% on over 6 attempts per game at 22 years old? He is on a nice trajectory!

KD and his crew steamrolled over the Pelicans. 134-102. That’s a damn good victory for Houston. Their defense was solid and they shot the 3 well. They led by as many as 33pts. Great win for Houston.

Basketball is all about runs. It’s good Houston went on there loosing streak before the playoffs. We’ll see if they can go on a winning streak now before the playoffs.

Why does the coach always give Sengun so little playing time?! Coach, let Sengun break records!! Today was his day, he didn’t get the most playing time in any other game, others did. Racist people everywhere.

This how the rockets need to play I been saying it all year when you get the bench involved like hoilday and others idk why Josh not getting minutes but keep alpi at that point forward role at center him shooting 3s and making plays from the key opens up yall spread offense that way everything not focused on KD and he can stay fresh for big game shots and playmaking in the fourth to seal the deal use alpi like a point forward like this game to unlock the team chemistry cuz if you pay attention when he got the ball at the key it open back door cuts for everyone because he not in the paint that spread offense look effective when you use the whole team

Finally, holiday got more minutes and Okogie and DFS sat on the bench. They both don’t produce anything whatsoever. Okogie or Finney Smith. AND HE GETS PAID LESS. look how this game went, which proves what happens when they don’t play. Finney smith went to the lakers purely because Dallas was more than willing to trade him and the lakers thought he would play better with Luka. He didn’t do anything in LA either. Okogie started how many games? And didn’t do anything. Homeboy been in the league for damn near a decade and his career averages are 6 points a game and 1 assist a game…. The fact he’s even still in the league is mind boggling to me. Time to move on from DFS and Okogie. Get some more size and defensive minded guys to come off the bench for next season. This game is literally proof of what happens when they don’t play, we give guys like Holiday, Tate, and even Eason more minutes

Overall the rockets played harder, had fantastic ball movement, and most importantly, they played more energetic defense. The proof is in the pudding that the rockets are more than capable of scoring points and producing more offense than a lot of other teams. If the rockets had a little more size, hustled to the other side of the court after a made basket, AND STOPPED BEING LAZY DEFENSIVELY, they’d be a dangerous force in the western conference.
