I notice when one of my black friends studied very hard and got good grades. Other black kids looked at him with disdain and saying he is all white.

Basketball is decided by one criteria. Whoever makes the most baskets wins. It isn’t hope ball, or wish ball, or dream ball, or think what shoulda happened ball. ONLY baskets count!! That’s it.

Ray is a great guy and as a Celtics fan,im happy he left that dysfunctional environment that Rondo and KG created. He needs to stay away from them. Who needs drama in his life?
BTW it’s a joke that KG number gets retired and not Ray. Makes no sense

Both were great basketball players, BUT not so good at being human beings. They took competition to a ridiculous level. Both where childish.

Don’t trust Jesus — he’s a fake guy. He could have gone to ANY team in the league. Western Conference. You name it. He goes to the Heat, to beat the Celtics. Which he did. He got what he wanted. He held a grudge against Doc for playing time and all that. Danny for allegedly shopping him. Or shopping him, whether true or not. And like most women, he acted out of spite.

      June 15, 2020 at 10:53 pm

You delusional and salty. Nobody can go to any team. He went where he was offered the best contract. He had 3 choices, and he took the most lucrative contract, and the best situation, fit wise. He wanted minutes, and he was an essential piece to a championship team. Why make it his fault. They didn’t want him. He is a man. He can’t live his life to please anyone other than himself and his family. You need to grow up. Rondo was not passing him the ball and Doc NEVER addressed it. If Ray didn’t do anything his career would have been over. Why blame him for choosing the BEST offer. He was supposed to turn down a lucrative contract.

There’s two sides.. ray can say sorry for leaving IN THAT way without telling his “brothers” OR kg, perk, rondo etc. can say though we didnt get a sorry, we forgive and bury the hatchet.

But of course pride will get in the way. Personally think its on ray a bit more, but if the guys really loved him as a bro, they could easily forgive as well.

      June 15, 2020 at 10:15 pm

      lol… you have no clue

    • herbert nelson

      June 15, 2020 at 10:46 pm

They ostracized Ray before he left. Rondo quit passing him the ball. Contracts are made on production. Ray was having games where he didn’t touch the ball or rarely touched the ball. He went to Doc Rivers and nothing was done about it. Doc NEVER addressed it. If you are not making baskets in the NBA, you soon find yourself without a contract. That is why he left. They salty because Miami beat them. They didn’t want him, BUT they didn’t want him to go to Miami. He is going where he is wanted and he will get minutes.
