Losing Okoro could be a good thing. The Cavaliers need a two guard who is a multi-dimensional scorer…not a limited offense skilled and role player. Okoro is a bust for a high 5th pick in the 1st round.

When he got injured he had  2 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist…typical for him. He has to have a point guard create offense for him…that is not going to cut it in the NBA. The top teams have two guards who are multi-dimensional offensively and can score the basketball in multiple ways.

Newly acquired Brandon Goodwin is a much better offensive player than Okoro. The Hawks and Knicks made a big mistake not keeping him. He can create for himself and others…is a great ball handler…and for his size a willing and decent defender. I hope they continue to start him opposite Garland…it gives you when Rondo arrives and Garland comes back…three players that can handle the basketball in the half court, get into the paint for the lob, get assists and…are not offensive liabilities.

Goodwin had a good 1st game with double digit 13 points…6 assists, 4 rebounds…and the team was +11 with him on the floor. Tonight not so good shooting but he had 5 assists, 7 pts, 1 steal and just 1 turnover in his second game…and the team was +3 when he was on the floor.

Okoro is originally a bench player who was splitting minutes with Sexton. He wasn’t ready offensively to start and the team knew that. But he’s still a big help with defense, especially on the perimeter. The Cavs have held teams to low percentages and low numbers of attempts on 3pt shots and Okoro is a significant element in that.

However, Okoro has shown development on the offensive end. And yes, he only had 2 points but he literally only got to take 1 shot. The Cavs offense isn’t running the way it usually does since they have no starting quality playmakerd atm so the ways he has been able to score this season just arent there.

Mobley is 7ft tall and all of MAYBE 215lbs. It’s scary he’s capable of things like at 1:38. If that’s what he’s doing with his frame right now. Just imagine when he gets up to 240-245. That’s gonna be terrifying for A LOT of big guys to have to deal with

Good game! Pacers can’t win a close game to save their lives. Mobley got away with a double-dribble early in the game that was so obvious it was funny. Refs sleeping. Mobley looks like he should be ROY this year — complete player.

Refs miss those and travels down there more often than they like to admit. I remember one game last season Kawhi went up against Rudy Gobert and just never let the ball go, came back down, and went back up and scored. The entire Utah Jazz team were freaking out, especially Gobert, cause it was so blatant and intentional. But what causes it is sight lines on the floor. A double dribble can look like a ball being tipped away. What Kawhi did can look like a block.

Told everyone who would listen that Lauri was a bum who will never even avg 18 ppg or double digit rebounds. Thanks again for taking soft Lauri off of the Bulls hands.

Kevin Love is probably going over to Chicago for cheap next year for a shot at another chip. He will restructure his deal to see if he can ride the beast in the east to one or two.

I love the cavs and love this team and I know we struggling with Covid protocols but I swear if I gotta see pangodawful play another starting spot in my life imma start licking glue. Ole boy plays like he’s scared of the ball. Get this rondo signing done and give us back garland so he can go back
To handing out high fives on the bench.
