Tatum and Brown are going to be in the Hall of Fame in 20-25 years. Boston is about to OWN the East real soon

As soon as they figure out who is going to play SF for the long term they will be the top team in the NBA in 2-3 years. I think Gordon is playing great, I love him on the Celtics but he is the only one who doesn’t seem to be having fun out there and I am not 100% certain he will resign with the Celtics for a much, much, much lower salary.

The Celtics potentially have 4 players that could make the All Star team. Gordon is getting no love while he is putting up 17-6-4 (fg 51%- 3pt 38.9%- FT 87.9%) Take away just one player out of GW, KW, JT, or JB and all three of them will be averaging over 30 points a game. That is the only issue with having 4 talented players on one team that are all scorers, all can shoot, and 2 of them can dunk in traffic and two of them are crafty when they get within 8 ft of the rim.

Obviously they are happy for each other, they are having fun this year as a team and shot distribution doesn’t seem to be an issue for them. That wasn’t the case last year, and I think between Kyrie and Rozier bad attitudes became cancer in the locker room. Rozier is what he is, and it isn’t what he claimed (he said he was an all star on any team or conference) I don’t know who the Celtics will replace Gordon with going forward but he doesn’t seem to be enjoying himself on the Celtics.

I always thought JT would be more dominate at SF anyway but Gordon has been the glue for this team during cold streaks. It’s gonna be impossible for the Celtics to give all 4 huge contracts and not too mention their PPG is gonna be limited with 4 players shooting the ball 8-20 times a night (which end of year player rewards dictate how much a team can pay a player that pushed them over the cap). Kemba looks more than willing to play second fiddle to any of them, JT and JB have improved their friendship (according to a Recent JT interview, last year Kyrie put JT in the middle of a lot of drama)

Short story, long…lol What will GW do in his contract year, if he walks who replaces him? I would love, LOVE, LOVE to see Booker in Green and the rest would be history.

Jesse y They really need to give Gordon credit. He came back from a pretty devastating injury. He was being blamed for the lack of chemistry last year, when he was actually a victim of it.I hope he re-signs with Boston, they keep Theis and grab one or two of the Eastern European players.

christopher hennessey I think Boston is in a strange position where they don’t NEED anybody, if Williams stays healthy and Tacko gets stronger they become today’s version of the 90’s rockets but better without having to deal with an injury plagued MCGrady assuming Tatum stays healthy because Tatums game could easily be compared to T-Mac both in skill set and length no idea why they keep pushing Kobe comparisons.

Also, I 💯 agree GW needs to be given more credit but that’s on the media, I don’t know anything about how he feels about getting accolades but I do know without them the C’s will be limited on what salary they can offer him similar to how Klay got screwed.

I also agree that he’s a great fit going forward but finically I am not sure if it will be possible, it depends on when the next big salary cap increase comes, the C’s could get lucky and everything falls Into place similar to how GSW pulled it off. The future dominance of the C’s could come down to GW’s long term decision and whether or not Tacko can develop. I don’t see any team built for the future as much as the Celtics are and I am ridiculously happy that Danny didn’t do anything crazy before the trade deadline.

Lastly, it’s great to see the East getting stronger before the league decides to push a top seeded team based bracket instead of the East VS West that we have always enjoyed as fans.

      Go Celtics s ☘️ ☘️💯☘️☘️

Tatum is a MONSTER. they have to run the offense thru him tho not kemba.

    • Ironfangzu

      February 6, 2020 at 1:48 am

The Celts are very versatile. They can run the offense through Tatum, or they can do it through Hayward. Meanwhile Kemba is shoot-first kind of point guard, but that’s ok since Tatum and Hayward can both score and distribute.

  10. Daniel Taylor

    February 5, 2020 at 10:47 pm

Hayward’s playmaking ability is barely talked about man. Even the announcers were surprised when he slung that one handed dime over the defense right on the money.

    February 5, 2020 at 10:56 pm

Ainge is making a huge mistake by not being aggressive in pursuing a player that can come off the bench and impact the game. Without bench players that can give 20 plus solid minutes a night, my worry is Brown, Tatum, Kemba and Smart are going to wear down come playoff time. Keep in mind, they all played in the Fiba Basketball World Cup over the summer so the wear and tear on the body will start adding up. Hayward has also iterated that his foot still bothers him from time to time. Brad refuses to give the rooks (Langford, Williams, Edwards, etc.) consistent playing time. Langford played well tonight, but knowing Brad, we won’t see the kid for the next ten games. Rose and Morris are two individuals that can help this team in the long run. Celtics need to make a move especially with all these injuries piling up.

Celtics needs a good big center and that’s the missing piece

    • Ironfangzu

      February 6, 2020 at 1:53 am

hey, players don’t come free. If you want some bench players who can contribute a lot of minutes, who do you want to give up in trade? Seems to me that Wannamaker and Ojele are getting steady minutes and the various rookies are getting playing time depending on how they play. Remember we have a lot of guys out right now but once more healthy bodies get back Brad won’t have to run the same 7-8 guys for heavy minutes.

    • gyoyobw123

      February 6, 2020 at 1:12 am

Nah he’s key rotation player and that would disrupt chemistry. Guys like Poirier who don’t get much minutes are on the table.

while everyone is attentive to what Tatum, Kemba, Hayward are doing and seeing if Theis is there screening them- here comes Jaylen Brown with a back door cut jamming on your big lol.

Wanamaker is getting so much better I absolutely hated his choices the first 10 games of the season. I remember posting about his shot clock wasting dribbling that led to nothing and then all of sudden dude is slashing, hitting threes, playing D and dropping dimes.

I thought this game was very competitive and Magic showed that if they only had one Super Star player, they would be a force to be reckoned with
