Talk about starting a road trip 🔥 right!

Tonight Brooklyn got off to a slow start against a floundering rockets squad. But eventually Mikal Bridges and Spencer dinwiddie helped get the offense flowing and Nerlens Noel impact already was paying huge dividends. It allowed Seth curry and Joe Harris to get a lot of good spacing tonight to make important buckets. Nic Claxton came out that second half scorching thanks to the minutes Noel allowed him to have on the bench.

But Mikal Brooklyn Bridges again was a difference maker and hit a huge three to close out the first half and had a scorching second half to get Brooklyn a lot of good separation. More importantly Mikal made some history and continues to show he wants to be one of the main guys in Brooklyn new Era.

Overall a good team win with a tough Bucks squad next . Let’s go 🔥🔥🔥🔥…

Mikal Brooklyn Bridges is playing not just with confidence but with poise precision intensity and focus. He’s been a good vocal leader on and off the court. He made some history tonight and keeps providing that energy to his team to keep fighting and playing as a unit 🔥.

I still think suns are gonna regret letting him go he was actually a concrete member of our team…. Dudes a beast and he’s awesome off the court I got to meet him a few times he always stayed and gave autographs whereas CpBum never would

@Drew Dober Brooklyn should definitely keep him Johnson and Claxton as core pieces going forward. Spencer and Dorian are great vets to keep on this squad going forward.

If Brooklyn can turn Ben Simmons another player and some draft picks into a decent good trade to get a young impactful all star talent back in the offseason this new core could be really strong going into next season.

But Nerlens Noel had a big impact tonight. He provided some good size for the second unit and had a few good defensive plays.

More importantly he helped Joe Harris and Seth curry get necessary spacing to get some big buckets that led to Brooklyn coming back in the game.

Even bigger then that Nerlens allowed nic Claxton to get some necessary rest off the bench which allowed him to come out of that second half with a higher energy and focus.

The Nerlens Noel effect played big dividends tonight for the new squad which has become a little deeper. 🔥

Royce o Neale deserves some credit too. He’s been on a good run lately getting some good threes playing more gritty defense and has thrown some good assists out too. Royce continues to provide different intangibles to a team looking for a new identity. And Royce has definitely brought some heart and grit 😎

The Nets traded away Kevin Durant away and apparently “this somehow gives Houston the opportunity to be better than Brooklyn a few years down the road. The people that say “Houston’s bright future which will all be ensured” over the next few years don’t understand trades involving picks at all. The 3 picks Houston still has in return for Harden right now are largely negated by the 5 Brooklyn got back for KD. This is on TOP of the team they have right now. Not to mention the fact that Houston traded 2 of their first rd picks to acquire Russell Westbrook! Just here to make ppl see the full scope of things regarding this….

P.S. When it comes to pick swaps, one has to consider how negligible in value a 15th pick is from an 17th assuming thats where their picks are which are dictated by their record that season. So if we can this game to go off of, the Nets will still have MORE young talent to compliment with this.

Ben simmons just a 6-10 cheerleader at this point

Nic Claxton though turned it up in the second half making more great defensive plays and putting his stamp on the offensive side with some big dunks. More importantly his versatile stat line of 18 points 13 rebounds 4 blocks and a assist and steal is Nic Claxton as a complete center player.

Having Nerlens Noel definitely helped Claxton get necessary rest on the bench and he came out of that second half reenergized and the results showed. 😎
