Defiantly is a lower management problem. Players talks time off because they’re tired. They don’t t play back to back games anymore. Plus hole sleep staff

Dominique thinks he understands what is happening, but he doesn’t. The NBA is losing fans in the US. They’ve been able to sort of make up for it by expanding globally, but the real reason the money keeps increasing is because the oligarchs who actually run the world view the NBA, like all forms of entertainment, as a distraction worth investing in as they accelerate toward complete control over the “masses.” State Street, Black Rock, and Vanguard own the majority share in every single Fortune 500 company (look it up), and they cross pollinate ownership amongst each other (with Vanguard being private, allowing for total obfuscation). So don’t act like the fans are cool with what the NBA players are doing – they’re not. It’s just that the fans are irrelevant at this point. NBA players are simply taking part in a power game to distract the masses, and they are the proverbial dancing monkeys for the so called elite. The truth is that the competitive spirit of the NBA as a sport has diminished significantly, save a few players like Curry and Doncic who still love competition at the highest levels. That’s very obvious.

If they don’t wanna pay them for sitting regular season games when resting are they paying them for the extra games in the post season?

They should, should go both ways.

These analysts have no idea what it means to be an athlete. Load management is needed for sustainability. These athletes are stronger and faster than ever and they’re wearing sneakers with no true ankle support. Let them play less games and make less money then. Simple as that.

These athletes also play too many games at the aau level.

The NBA doesn’t have a load management problem. Besides Kyrie and Ben Simmons, who else has really taken significant time just sitting on the bench or whatever over the last few years? The real issue is players not fulfilling their contracts with one team and constantly moving around the league. It doesn’t allow for a culture to be built around the franchise, and culture is what builds and sustains fanbases. Just look at Golden State. Their fans are LOYAL, because their main stars were built through the draft, also winning championships helps a lot too lolll

The league needs defensive rules to be brought back. Playing defense will extinguish 2/3rds of these “stars”. Once that happens everything from super team bs to load management will be solved.

Why do the darks always blame the system? It’s always the system system with them. Show up to work… how hard is that.

The league is fine. It’s just players and people in general getting softer and softer. If your injured or at risk of serious injury than sit til your 100%. If your healthy go do your job at maximum effort and try to dominate the competition. Keep the season and playoffs the way its always been. 82 games, 7 game series. The contracts should be re structured so these weak players stop getting away with sitting out when they feel like it and all this team hopping demanding trades if everything doesn’t go there way. It needs to be fair both ways. Can’t let the owners get over on the players but with all the benefits they’ve earned and been given and the millions they make the players need to stop being divas, do the right thing.

The Dog, Is Right, The Players Are Cheating The Fans. Period, Dominque, Is Just Flat Wrong, Same Number Of Games with Charles Barkley, Dr. j. Bird, Jordan, so Just Come Out And Say today’s NBA Players Are Just Not As Good, And As Durable..

This argument sounds like rich greedy people arguing how to divided the billions. As a spurs fan I never had a problem with pop resting players. I got a lot more years of enjoyment watching them cos they had longer than average careers…

Adding the Play-In Tourney was great but it’s still not enough. They should have another incentive for top-seeded teams, not just home-court advantage. I suggest having an iteration of the “Twice-to-Beat” advantage, or something alike. That should prompt teams to not just avoid the Play-In, but also strive for a top seed in their respective conferences…

These games that they miss may not mean anything to dom but they mean something to the fans that show up to watch them. The media has forgotten about the fans, the people that really pay the bills

The players need to play. It’s disgraceful for people to pay hundreds to see Lakers play in Toronto once a year and then Lebron decides to sit out.

    July 17, 2022 at 12:07 pm

People will care when Lebron James sits out games for load management there already doing it now this clown doesn’t know what he’s talking about

It’s really the back to back games that hurt them.

The nba is just weak starting from adam silver all the way to the bottom. These players take off when they want don’t care about the fans always getting injured and not respecting their contracts. If something doesn’t go their way they demand a trade. Nba is just plain terrible!!!
