He’s like a fast running back who they tell to slow down. Find your gaps then use your speed

I believe Russ feels an obligation being on the team with Lebron. Unintentionally choking himself up.

Thanks Shaq for being a Laker. We need y’all involved with the team.

Shaq 1000% right. Russ knows he’s doing bad and his solution is to go faster and faster. Bro slow down and pick your battles. Analyze the floor. That’s something he has to learn

One thing that is exclusive to the Lakers’ organization is their vanguard hold championships won as a rite of passage, assailing them to the echelon of gatekeeper, affording them carte blanche to challenge product they deem substandard.

i’d like to hear what Wade has to say about Russ, like what he thinks he should do to improve or fix his game

I’ve been a big supporter of Russ even before he ran the show solo in OKC when Durant left, and Shaq is right, he needs to slow down. Everyone knows Russ has the reputation of going hard every single game, but his age is beginning to show, especially this season. He needs to pick the time when to show that speed rather than going 100% the whole time. He needs to study how guys like Chris Paul who are able to change their speed when needed and utlitize it for his benefit. I really hope he is able to take Shaq’s advice for the better of himself and the Lakers. The more he decides to take his time, the more efficient he’ll become.

Derrick Rose is the perfect example of what Shaq is saying. You can still have ur explosiveness, but you need to know when to use it.

Would like to see Wade do a breakdown of Russ at some point. A.I., Wade, and Russ were cut from similar cloths, but Wade really knew how to attack in his althleticism, not just with his athleticism. It wasn’t a bat he tried to beat you with, but a blades edge to cut into your angles. So much so that even as that edge dulled Wade aged gracefully and could carve up a defense when it was needed in that Father Prime era.

Add in the experience of playing with LeBron, and I don’t know if there’s s better player to offer great constrictive criticism. He needs to loosen up on these shows and let some opinions fly, dude had phenomenal instincts for the game as a player.

I don’t think he should slow per day more rather time his explosive speed so that the defender needs to catch up once you start accelerating

Shaq: I finally see the problem; he needs to slow down.

My gosh, you’re the first one who said that Shaq, what a epiphany. 😑😑😑
