Houston rockets need to send Harden out to Raptors for Kawhi

I wish they went back to the 7 seconds or less offense they use to have ball movement back when they had Beverly, Lou and some of the other guys

all I know is, JH is NOT an MVP player and has never been one. They should take back the mvp title and give it to the rightful owner…

You sound like a prisoner of the moment. Lets not forget that the rockets wouldn’t be relevant without James Harden level of play. They were literally a dumpster fire early this year but harden’s consistency brought them back and to the playoffs.

Bring in Tom thibadue he’ll be 10 times tougher and productive then dantoni

      May 31, 2019 at 5:15 pm

I would try to at least pair them up
Maybe this time Dantoni would agree to join forces with Tom

Rockets need to tweak the offense and incorporate more ball movement and add one more 3 and d player. I like the idea of not giving Dantoni a contract extension and instead letting him coach the last year of his contract, the guy makes no adjustments whatsoever and does not deserve it. I’m rooting for him, but next season will be a make or break year for Dantoni. Lol the dude is out of his mind asking for a contract extension after that embarrassing exit at home.

james harden will always be in the mvp race, dude finished 2nd in mvp race with kevin mchale as his coach in 2014

D’Antoni’s system isn’t the problem. It’s not perfect, but that isn’t the biggest issue. His inability or refusal to make adjustments in the playoffs is the problem. No matter what system you run, teams will take certain things away in the playoffs. That’s where the adjustments come in. Every playoff coach, whether they win or not, attempts to make adjustments in the playoffs. D’Antoni is the only one who doesn’t. And that’s why his teams will never win a championship. You can have the best system in the history of basketball. It won’t mean a damn thing come playoff time when your opponent adjusts and you don’t.

It makes sense but its a little extreme, they’re a good organization. Honestly, the Lakers need to do this…

A team doesn’t need a Frankenstein coach a above average coach can take you to the final it all comes to the teams A B guys Even if you have Steve Kerr, Popovich, and OGs in their prime Chuck Daly, Phil Jackson Pat Riley this team are not going to win a ring. I’m just surprised this team can go to game 7 with the Warriors last year which is Harden and Chris Paul’s greatness achievement in their NBA career when both of them retired. What the Houston Rockets need to is get rid of that stupid ass Daryl Morey he always brings in stars pass their prime and give them the max beside Harden Morey never have develop any young talent in his year Houston as GM.

Rockets owner Fertitta is rebuilding but he doesn’t want to admit it yet. Why do you think he got rid of all the assistant coaches and now trying to trade the entire roster? He wants to try what Ballmer did with the Clippers. Ballmer traded his best players Paul, Griffin and Jordan because they kept losing to the Warriors too. And when one of the acquisitions Tobias Harris became a really good player, Ballmer traded him too. He wanted to tank so hard yet they still ended up getting into the playoffs and even beat the Warriors twice in their series. So now Fertitta is thinking maybe they can still be competitive with cheaper players, even though he probably won’t be able to trade Chris Paul’s huge contract. Fertitta is saying the entire roster is open to be traded but he really only wants to get rid of the expensive players. If nobody is interested in Harden and CP, then fine, they’ll still be in the playoffs, but if he’s able to trade one or both of them, then they’re in rebuilding mode. And if they’re rebuilding, then he might as well get rid of D’Antoni.

Davis for Harden and etc. Helps old man Paul since it will slow down the pace and Davis won’t take off plays if he doesn’t have the ball.

Tillman isn’t playing around. I love it. He’s holding this team’s feet to the fire. They had everything set up for them and blew it against the Warriors. Something has to change

It’s been 6 years since he got here. James harden is not a championship 1st option. D’antoni is definitely not a championship coach. He is a playoff coach.
