Rulebook says two steps after the gather, meaning when a player secures possession of the ball after a dribble or pass, the ball still bouncing upwards into his hand for all intents and purposes is not under Luka’s direct control. The last time the ball touched the floor is irrelevant. At the time of the “Gather” his back foot is already off the floor, meaning that would be his first step once it lands.
@parcival3016 is he dribbling the ball, and therefore in possession of said ball? Can you, in any circumstance, make two consecutive steps with the same foot while in possession of the ball?
