You know those 2011 and 2012 Celtics teams? They should’ve beaten those Heat. The 2011 Mavs beat them. Are the 2011 Celtics worse than them? Doc underachieved with them in Boston. The excuses is they got old. Doc had a 3-2 series lead in 2010 and 2012. Still lost. He’s the only coach to blow a 3-1 lead twice. If we fail because of him, he’s got to go. Long overdue.

*CLIPPER* *NATION,* *DO* *NOT* *UNDERESTIMATE* *UTAH.* We could lose to them in the 2nd round which is why chasing for #1 should now be the priority. We saw what happened to “Playoff P” against Joe Ingles two years ago.

That loss to Atlanta still stings. I knew it would happen. Minus Kawhi or PG and Clippers are a lottery team because Tobias, Gallo, and Shai aren’t there either to recoup the loss production. Lou & Trezz is just a lottery Clippers team losing to a lottery team in Atlanta. Losses like those might come back to bite us at the end. We’ve lost several times to bad teams because of load management.

The final four games if PG is out, we must play Kawhi. It doesn’t have to be 30 minutes. Even 20 minutes and mostly in the 4th can do. Clippers are still winless without PG or Kawhi there. Can’t the Clippers medical staff get the hint? Play Kawhi. We need to go 31-5 to catch the Lakers. I actually think we can do it but we have to stop sitting Kawhi out once we’re building momentum.

Knowing how Doc’s team closes seasons, we’ll likely get to that 56-26 record we are on pace for and finish 24-12 the rest of the way. They don’t seem to care about the #1 seed which now creates a tougher path to the WCF. Listen to Nick Wright and Jalen Rose of all people. It’s a huge risk. We don’t want to face Utah in the 2nd round. We don’t match up well against them.

Thank goodness Clippers only have 4 B2Bs left but we must NOT lose those games. We need Kawhi to play if PG isn’t there. Or just play him either way. Clippers are a lottery team as bad as the Cavs without their 2 stars.

    *Doc’s* *Clippers* *Playoff* *History*
    2014: 1-1
    2015: 1-1
    2016: 0-1
    2017: 0-1
    2019: 0-1
    Total: 2-5

Not once did Clippers have the #1 seed. Maybe we should try to attempt it to have an easier path to the conference finals? Losing to the Thunder in 2014 and Rockets in 2015 might not have happened had we had homecourt advantage.

When Doc had homecourt advantage: 2-2
When Doc had no homecourt advantage: 0-3

In 2016 and 2017, we were 4th seeds each time and lost in the first round. I know CP3 and Blake got hurt in 2016 and Blake got hurt again in 2017, but still. Doc is winless when Clippers don’t have homecourt advantage.

Excuses. The Clippers were up 3-1 against the Rockets in 2015.

Doc Rivers is a good coach but he’s OVERRATED by the media. He should’ve won more rings in Boston and be in more than 2 Finals appearances. Many folks in Clipper Nation know he isn’t that great. You saw what Adam Sandler’s character did in Uncut Gems? He was trashing Doc near the end. He’s good but he’s nothing legendary.

    2018 Clippers: 23-23 (42-40)
    2019 Clippers: 25-21 (48-34)
    2020 Clippers: 32-14 (56-26?)

    Expectations are a killer.

    *Doc* *Rivers’* *Playoff* *W/L* *Records*
    ORL: 5-10
    BOS: 59-47
    LAC: 20-26
    Overall: 84-83

Doc has never won a championship without homecourt advantage. The lone year in 2008, Celtics were 66-16, best in the NBA. And Celtics struggled in that run going to 7 games twice.

Doc could waste Kawhi’s next two seasons if he isn’t careful. If we lose to Utah or Denver in the 2nd round with or without homecourt advantage because we got a 2nd or 3rd seed again, he needs to go or we’ll waste another season with Kawhi.

Clippers must start taking every single team seriously. If Lakers don’t seem like a threat to us, focus on other teams who are. Because they might just beat us before we even get a chance facing the Lakers. We’re trying to beat every team out there. Not just the Lakers.

Styles make fights. Lakers can beat the Jazz but Jazz can beat us and we can beat the Lakers. We have to be totally aware of every opponent. Lakers could really be frauds and all Clippers were doing were beating up frauds

Doc’s blown opportunities were in 2009, 2011, and 2012. A great coach would appear in the Finals in all of them. I know the Celtics lost KG to injury in 2009 but they still had 2 stars and they still lost to Orlando! In 2011, the Mavs beat the Heat but the Celtics couldn’t? In 2012, they blew a 3-2 lead because no homecourt advantage.
