Its not accurate to claim they would be in the playoffs if he didn’t miss those games. The west was stacked. The clippers were the 1 seed. Hell the grizzlies were in the playoffs. But what we can say, is Lebron has had ample opportunity to get them in the playoffs since he returned and they have been worse with him on the court. In short, he never got it done. But we have James Harden who literally put the team on his back scoring 40 ppg, 50 ppg, with a 31 game streak of 30+ pooints and led his team from the 13th seed to the 5th seed and now they are fighting for 3rd or 2nd. That is what a great player does.

Ingratiate him into the community more?? This is not cleveland! LA doesn’t want to be buttered up with things off the court, they want WINS! They want an all time great player that they are paying 37.5 mil or something a year to bring them WINS. That is what will the fans over, not community shit!

So Jeff’s crazy for saying they should try to get as many assets as possible from a potential LBJ trade to build for stability in the future? Man, if the Lakers don’t win a single a title in his four years there, they’re gonna be kicking themselves for not even considering the idea.

they’re not making the playoffs because the morale is low and there’s no trust between players, not because LBJ missed 18 games.. the big fat dude, wtf is he talking about?!!

The guy on the far end is right. I’d expand that and say if Lebron James doesn’t get hurt, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram don’t get hurt they’re in the playoffs. Walton is going to be the scapegoat for things that were largely beyond his control.

A.) This isn’t Luke Walton’s fault
B.) LeBron isn’t Kobe: What I mean is 04-07 Kobe played with some of the worst NBA players
Medvedenko, Kwame, Mihm, Cook, Smush, etc and LeBron is doing the same, trying to win with some of the most overhyped scrubs in the NBA, but the difference is Kobe was at his prime, while LeBron is at the curve that Kobe was when he got hurt.
C.) Next season I do think LeBron will be back but not to his usual form a little closer to say his final CLE year as far as stats, wins, production etc.
D.) The Lakers didn’t know if they wanted to do their 3-4 years to win or win NOW and you can’t do that.

The Lakers are 21-26 with Lebron on the floor. Once again the lebronites making up stats to defend him. Smdh..
*edit* 4-11 (14 games) since he returned from injury.

There’s nothing wrong with LBJ. The Lakers have nothing but a bunch of overhyped young guys. They have a few good games and then everyone is all over that fact. Truth is those games come and go while LBJ has been nearly averaging a triple double this season. Lonzo Ball is an absolute bust, Kuz has fallen back to earth and mediocre at best. BI had maybe 8 good games all year and is mostly a disappearing talent. LBJ in the AS game showed what he can do with real talenty around him. Durant and LBJ dominated the game in the 4th quarter when the East defense was actually trying as hard as they could. Tomahawk dunks and crisp passes to Durant a real shooter were the picture of what will and has come when LBJ is teamed up with true talent. He had Kyrie in Cleveland and has always had the second star. The Lakers youth are overrated by largely a young social media who only look to point fingers at anything else except the pathetic young players who’s best quality is to pout. Here is their attitude…Boo Hoo I was going to be traded, Give me my binky.

They keep bring up he missed 18 games, hell they had a easy schedule too

March 13, 2019 at 6:21 am
1) 1st half schedule was a cake walk for Lakers, 2) Every team deals with injuries…Rockets loss their entire roster in December and January, 3) sub .500 with Lebron on the floor, 4) missing 18 games at his age ain’t a mitigant to the Lakers issues, it’s a harbinger of more more issues, 5) etc etc etc

Lakers was a really good team before the injuries. They just blew out Golden State and than injuries hurt them. You all over reacting. LB out 18 games during that time Lakers was finding them selfs. They was about to blow out Houston before Zo got hurt. LB hurt Rondo hurt don’t forget their Center got sick McGee and he was playing outstanding. So 3 starters out for a month and have to play out of shape and work themselves back in shape. Lonzo still out and Ingram out. If they all healthy they win a championship.

If Lebron never got hurt… we would still not make the playoffs what rlly hurt this team was lebrons willingness to give up everybody on the roster even the future of the lakers (picks) just for him not for the franchise! This is selfish

People go back to them 18 teams games like they would’ve won them all lol they 6-12 even if they went let’s say 11-7 or 12-6 and that’s being generous given who they played they still wouldn’t be in the playoffs now lol

LeBron should be on the roster, magic shouldn’t be gm. fire him Geanie on a spot, immediate effect. together with Pelinka or whoever is second gm. FIRE THEM.
