Kings gave the Pacers all they could handle tonight. Pascal Siakam drew the short straw. He was charged with guarding Sabonis tonight and needless to he got owned by Sabonis.
Doesn’t matter, Pacers won. Sabonis is just a double-double machine, that’s all. He’s not a rim protector and he can’t defend. That’s what irritated me the most when he was on the Pacers.
#1. Second round exit
#2. Eastern Conference Finals exit again
#3. Finals Appearance
#4. Get CHAMPIONSHIP this season
#5. 1st round exit
#6. Disappointing season
Nice bounce back win, good to see that we’re playing well in close games, bodes well for playoffs. 11-6 in the month of March is solid, let’s finish strong and wrap up that 4 seed and home court in the first round
I love the way Sabonis played tonight. He didn’t settle for any three’s. He played traditional big boy basketball and stuck to dominating the paint. He also did a nice job of rebounding the ball as opposed to facilitating. I like it!
Kings starters played very well offensively tonight, although Malik Monk who came off the bench for the Kings has seen better days as he went 2-14 from the field tonight.
The Pacer’s bench outplayed the Kings bench and I believe that was the difference in the game. Haliburton played well. He had a double double tonight, but Nesmith struggled with his shot tonight as he went 1-8 from 3. Siakam, Bryant and Nembhard didn’t play well tonight so Haliburton and the bench definitely carried the Pacers tonight.
Getting rid of Mike Browne sure made the difference for the Sacramento Kings! Until ownership becomes relentless about winning, this team will remain the same underachieving, no defense, fourth-quarter collapse team that they’ve been for years
