I hope & pray Joel’s career lasts another 5 years at least. I prefer another 10 but hopefully he stays healthy enough to play longer.

Embid win MVP and a championship… does it prove the modern 3 point philosophy is totally mute 🤐 meaning it’s been a wasted of NBA game planning for at least 5+ years and last years JOKIC mvp before that Giannis…… goes to show the 3 ball if the biggest snake oil idea in basketball can’t win consistently by hoping you hit 3’s without an inside game

They may be 6th but they are 2 games from 1st. When the season is over and it’s this tight in the east I can easily see him winning it.

Mature Answers. Growth of a leader and franchise player. I got Jokic and Joel tied for MVP. Lucky to witness such an era of big man basketball. Versatile and multifaceted.

Both keeping their teams afloat with fantastic and dominating basketball.

This era of NBA has so many young strong players who haven’t even peaked yet it’s scary. For the first time in a long time I just don’t know which team has “it” more and I’m loving it.

As I’ve observed. Embiid even with his injuries. He at least gets to play and stay healthy enough even in the playoffs. I think of his career comparison to Oden who could have been a dominating player but was always derailed by injuries and being more off the court than on it.

I hope we see like 5 years of similar production from Joel, this old school paint monster style needs him badly.

Joel stays healthy rest of year he’s gonna easily take mvp regardless of what Jokic does. Look at their record with him Vs without it’s ridiculous what he brings to the team.
