Joel Embiid defends Ben Simmons for not taking his game outside of the paint and shooting more 3-pointers. Embiid says he is willing to sacrifice for the team by shooting more 3-pointers himself to allow Ben Simmons to feel comfortable and give him more freedom to operate around the basket.

The 76ers will never win a title with Simmons and Brown.

Lol they took a break from trying to push Giannis to LA now they are doing the sixers the same way. ESPN is basically the U.S foreign policy: infiltrate, destabilize, and collect the assets.

I’m honestly so sick of this 3 point shooting talk. I coach high schoolers & you can see how much the emphasis on shooting 3s tailors their game for the worst

These dudes haven’t even hit their prime yet and people are saying they can’t co-exist. 😂😂😂 They’re young. They’ll figure it out. Ben Simmons will make strides and so will Embiid. These 2 will be the beasts of the East for many years to come.

Yeh, this is the time when you get rid of your Point Guard. Because THIS is unacceptabe, i wonder if simmons even feels bad. Howw hard is it to go practice a jump shot until you get it, since basketball is your job and all

This is soft asf from Simmons… you would think that he wants to improve to better the team. It’s not like he’s a terrible shooter either, he’s made threes and mid ranges.

Maybe they should switch bodies ..embids mind with Simmons body and Simmons mind with embids body ..then they could have a working strategy.

One thing I really admire is how these guys have their native languages, but in the process of working on their craft, they are also getting acclimated to the English language, which is really strange in itself.

If I was Joel, I would’ve asked for a trade the day after he lost to the raptors last year and cried. The team is great on paper but lackluster in reality😔

Imagine getting paid to play competitive basketball and you scared to shoot a three point shot.Ben Simmons is not worth his contract at all, props to Embid for being REALLY supportive but this is actually stupid

trade Embiid
Philly can get a ton for him and they play better without him

I understand why this is still a conversation, because it’s going to be a factor come playoff time (if not some time before, after Embiid gets back). However, getting into it right after perhaps the team’s biggest win of the year so far, down two starters, vs the #1 team in the west (record-wise) feels awkward. Not to mention doing it while Simmons is on an individual tear.
