@momoni90 I disagree. Both teams benefit. Jordan Clarkson is a great scorer coming off the bench for a competitive team and I’m happy for him. The Cavs get to spend more time giving their younger players, especially Kevin Porter Jr. (who has an enormous ceiling) more minutes to develop and find his game.

I hope the Cavs become a powerhouse soon and win a championship that doesn’t have LeBums name all over it. The way he treated his teammates and the city like they owed him something was disgusting. I really hope he makes it to the finals with the Lakers just so he can lose it again in 5.

Im so tired of ppl sleeping on Collin man its ridiculous , in my personal opinion i think he is the best rookie PG , i feel like the only reason Trae young averages more points and gets more recognition than him is #1 because the entire hawks organization gave him the keys to lead them .#2 No one on that team is as offensively skilled or aggressive in scoring as him so they are gonna give the ball to him for buckets 85% of the time. #3 The media really wants to push that “Next Steph Curry” narrative so he will always be more popular than Collin when in reality Trae will never be Steph , dont get me wrong Trae is a tremendous talent i just feel as if Collin was in a situation like that he would average 30 as well . Collin is on a team with a bunch of bitter selfish players and he still is averaging 20 ppg. He is a very strong guard he can take it to the cup , hit the midrange and hit the 3 at a consistent basis and knows how to draw fouls & knockdown free throws at a high clip. Collin is underappreciated and id wish he would get traded to another team he would be appreciated on he is too talented for this.

I agree with the top half but the end is questionable to me. When you look at it in totality he went to a CHAMPIONSHIP ORGANIZATION that just left the finals and was trying to resign LeBron so he was given a ROLE as supposed to being handed the keys to the franchise because at that time it made no sense because the Cleveland Cavaliers were in a way better place Organizationally, everybody that was selfish and didn’t fit are slowly being moved off the roster because building a team is a long strenuous process. Going to another team would be stupid and would set Collin back when he is starting to get his NBA footing.

Say what you want about Sexton, he’s arguably been the 3rd or 4th best player from the 2018 class so far. Which you can’t be mad about if you got him with the 8th pick.
Fun fact:Throughout his career he has a better Fg% and 3pt% Then Luka Doncic and Trae young. On more minutes played then both of them, Plus he hasn’t missed a game his whole career. Obviously he’s not better then them, but it’s an interesting fact Incase you had your doubts about the kid.🤷♂️
I know the Cavs are most likely gonna favor Darius Garland moving forward, but I’d hate to see us be quick to look past the kid and eventually ship him off because his style of play.

Obviously the Cavs are in a weird situation with guards, especially when the upcoming draft is pretty guard heavy🤦♂️ Since this drafts also looking to be pretty bad like the 2013 draft. I believe depending on where we’re picking, that our best bet is to trade back in the draft and maybe do a 2 prospects for 1 kinda package. I think there’s a lot of “what if’s” in this draft. I definitely think it’s way more talented than 2013, as far as potential goes. As in there could be just as many stars as there could be bust. So you can definitely get some high ceilings boom or bust players outside of the lottery. Which might be the best thing to do tbh. Just my thoughts🤔
