Jarrett Allen finished with a team-high 25 points, along with 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the Cavaliers, while Evan Mobley tallied 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in the game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The Cavaliers improve their record to 32-4 with the win, while the Thunder fall to 30-6 for the season. The Cavaliers’ next game is Thursday, 1/9/2025, against the Raptors (7:00 PM ET, FanDuel Sports Network – Ohio), while the Thunder continue their road trip on Friday, 1/10/2025, when they face the Knicks (7:30 PM ET, NBA TV).

    The Cavs bigs are so fun because they’re obviously amazing rim runners and protectors, but their skill is underrated.

    They’re obviously not Jokic or Embiid, and they don’t shoot like KAT; but they’re really rangy & athletic, have great touch and footwork, and are incredibly smart players. People forget they were 21 and 24 in that Knicks series 2 years ago – they’ve grown so much since then.
