Jaden McDaniels has become an overrated defender. In previous years i was confident doing Stake punts his team when he was on the court but truly who does he slow down these days? SGA, Tatum, Cade and many more have each gotten up to 35 plus points when hes on :/ his offensive shortcomings to being a defensive stopper is the one thing that keeps him from being a negative on the court and lately he hasn’t been one. That contract is looking more and more bad.
It is impossible to truly stop good players. Jaden is a great defender. He is not perfect, still fouls too much and gets stuck behind opposing players too much. And his offense is frustrating. He is grabbing more rebounds at least.
players get worse when they get paid but you gotta realize that the best players will get theirs you just cant let them drop 40+ or hit a game winner on you

Jaden is too skinny. Smaller guys like Dort use their bodies. Jaden has length but the way offensive players can create space takes away his size.
