    The biggest mistake people make about Steph is that he always had this kind of range. That’s why you go to gyms and see kids “practicing” from 40+. But the truth of the matter is, when he was in college, during his first 5-6 seasons in the league he’s 3 point range was very similar to the rest of the league. It wasn’t until 2014, the year Dame got shut down in the playoffs when he got trapped at the top of the 3 point line, then came back the next season in 2015 having worked on the deep 3 as a counter to the trapping, that we saw Steph also start to really “work” on that part of his game. In both cases, for Dame and Steph, they were already great 3 point shooters before they decided to extend their range. So don’t go out and start practicing from 40. Get your form right from right under the basket first, then move out.
