Domantas Sabonis (21 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists) recorded a triple-double to propel the Kings to an 123-118 victory tonight in Sacramento. Jaime Jaquez Jr. had a triple-double of his own tallying 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists but it was not enough for the Heat. The Kings win their 5th in a row and improve their record to 18-19 with the win, while the Heat fall to 17-17 for the season. The Kings’ next game is Friday, 1/10/2025, against the Celtics on the road (7:30 PM ET, NBC SPORTS BOSTON/NBCSCA), while the Heat continue their road trip on Tuesday, 1/7/2025, when they face the Warriors (10:00 PM ET, NBCSBA/FanDuel Sports Network – Sun).

    It’s becoming more and more clear that Mike Brown had lost the locker room, and that’s why he needed to go. Two weeks ago this would’ve been an easy blowout win for the Heat, but this team hung tough and never stopped believing they could win. And that seems to be the difference so far between this team now under DC, and what it was before under MB.

    The problem with Mike Brown was his rotations and not allowing players to play thru mistakes and punishment with DNPs etc smdh. Give these guys a chance to prove themselves and believe in them and support them, well DC knows he was a player that is the difference player coach big ups to DC and our recharged beam team Let’s Gooooooo Kings Light the F’ING BEAM! 👍🏽💪🏾🙌🏽👊🏽

    i was there in person, first ever nba game I went to. $35 nosebleeds, it was ELECTRIC. I’m a heat fan and I dont really care that we lost. More so that i got to experience this incredible game!
