@Jonas honestly it depends on the size of your hand. If you can palm the ball more than likely your going to be gripping the ball with your fingertips and the off hand actually is used as a guide. That’s one of the reasons taller players are preferred it just because they can play above the rim. A shorter person with smaller hands can’t grip the ball as easily so when shooting the guide hand may interfere a lil . Just go watch a big shoot and then go watch a smaller guy shoot. You’ll see the complete difference
