Because as good as Giannis has been this year, SGA and Jokic are having superior seasons. Jokic numbers are just INSANE and Shai has both amazing stats AND best record in the league. Both Shai & Joker lead the league in advanced stats as well, Best plus minus, Both top 5 in steals too, Love Giannis but he isnāt winning enough or impacting games as much as Joker & Shai. Being third in the MVP race right now seems about right tbh.
