Anybody whoās been paying attention can see thereās been some egregiously shady officiating for the Grizzlies this season and itās almost certainly because they feel ādisrespectedā by Ja. They got the green light from the commish because Ja definitely did actually disrespect himā¦ but you canāt just punish a whole team for one guy being addicted to flashing guns whenever thereās an instagram live within a 50 yard radius of him.

The NBA should copy the FIBA rule on timeouts. Only when the play is stopped. It is a way better rule and it works well. Live ball timeouts lead to problems. If you ref especially with a crowd cheering, the coach yelling, players sometimes calling for time out even when their team doesnāt control the ball, it is very hard to get that right. The FIBA rule same as in the Olympics is much better.
