Why did the officiating crew took so long to make it unsuccessful challenge??? That thing cost OKC the game. And MANN you should develop your shot selection and IQ.

I’m not saying that it’s true but this is why people say that steph ruined basketball. He only needs a 2 to win the game and he forces up a contested 3.

      July 7, 2022 at 10:02 pm

Wasn’t steph’s fault mann wanted to be a ‘hero’ but ended up looking stupid taking a contested step-back.

sure 2 is easier than 3 but is it really? it’s very situational, at the very end of games u shouldn’t have a clear lane to drive to the basket, even if u do find an opportunity to penetrate everybody is gonna be loading up on u risking a turn over too. smaller players are always gonna have a tough time getting a clean look inside at the end of games, going for the 3 u have way better chances of getting an open look. that said i do get what u mean, being aggressive and driving to the basket and making the defense collapse will always give u the potential of generating a better look because u r making the defense move. i get ur point and i do see way too many games ending like this, not even trying to get an easier bucket and just leaving it all up to a long range shot, not optimal. i just wanted to point out the discussion is a bit more nuanced than 2 is easier than 3…

Not Steph fault that’s just bad shot selection

Steph would definitely do a steph back mid range splash in this situation.

“Got him across the hand, so that’s a foul there”. The hand is part of the ball; I love it when announcers don’t know the rules!

You can see how this generation manipulated by three point shots. Thunder only need 2 points to win and they just waste it in terrible shot contested three smhπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

This younger generation of players are straight idiots. Lmao Kobe has fooled them into thinking ball hogging and bad shot selection is the only way to be a superstar. The difference is that Kobe made that shit πŸ˜‚ you ain’t Kobe my boy.
