You gotta force him right. His strong hand, but play off a little bit because he is so quick. He can’t hit you with that step back to his left. It’s easy. Any player that can shoot and drive effectively you gotta force them to there strong hand an 90% of players strong hand is there right hand. You’re welcome. I lock up 🔒 everyone at the Ymca lol

Yeah, wow, it’s cool that you’ve figured out what no coach or player in the NBA has been able to figure out. You should coach in the league.

Mitchell is only 6’1 but he plays bigger! Great attacking the basket and has become a lethal three point shooter!

@Prek Gjurashaj that was with shoes. He’s definitely shorter. I’ve met him even he was at Louisville, I had about half a foot on him, so 6’1″ is about right

Man I absolutely love the state that the Cavs are in with Donovan Mitchell being the head-man. The entire squad as a whole is solid from the top-down, but he is definitely here for moments like tonight with his 43 points and 4th-quarter takeover. Definitely a bright future for the team again!

Mitchell is so pigeon-toed it makes him look like he’s about to fall at any moment, but he’s the opposite of clumsy. Knows exactly where all his spots are now and how to get there. Better still, he doesn’t celebrate every great play anymore. Like he’s just doing his job. That’s when young exciting players become leaders. Look at his face throughout every highlight. He does something crazy and he just sprints back on D, point at assignments, and frowning like he already forgot about that last one. He makes like 10 great shots before he finally celebrates the steal and dunk to put them up 9. Some of it might be proving to folks it was Utah’s fault, but I think the trade just matured him a bit, and he’s determined to make this situation work.

I was watching this game last night. The run they had in the 4th quarter was so exciting to watch! There such a fun young team

I know I already left a long comment but I had to come back. Look at this fake shot dribble at 3:10. It completely baffles LeBron. This is not just great ballhandling, it’s subterfuge how he lowers his shoulders like he’s about to gather and rise up, knowing LeBron is going to react because he’s not a good defender anymore, and THEN he does this crazy Jordanesque up and under at the rim. He shows the defender the ball like finishers do, waits for him to bite intending to go to his left hand, but the defender comes over the top and LeBron is sneaking up. Mitchell just instinctively goes back right to avoid them both and STILL has enough english to finish this clean. He’s coming for everybody.
