@robinea8398 considering he played about half the season with a 5 minute cap on playing time. No chance to get 20 in those games. But in some of those 5 minute games, he outscored everyone else on the bench. Hard to improve when you aren’t playing.
To me he is a decent player. His potential is probably a taller buddy hield with at best average defense. That is a fantastic player. But it will take a few years till he gets there if he ever does, and with luka and reaves already not being great defenders it is hard to justify playing him for us.
I don’t think we’d let claxton go for less than a 2025/26/27 1st and a prospect. He would be a very good fit for Luka/Bron though. He can’t create his own shot very well. And Bron wouldn’t tolerate his antics.
I think the Lakers should keep him and I think he will be a good scorer. I know the Lakers wanted more consistent scoring but that is hard playing with three guys wgo dominate the ball. Prrsonally I would get rid of Labron as he has seen his best days pass
