Scoring 8 points in a championship game and getting outscored by Jason Terry in that series removed him from the GOAT debate. And all of it happened after forming a super team. Not 1, not 2, not 3 but 8 whopping points in the finals!

@@zzzvain9710Marion locked L-Bron… end of story. Everything else is an excuse, and exposes the weakness of your argument and L-bron’s performance.

MJ is the greatest scorer in NBA history. Obviously he has more 30 point games. Dude literally averaged 30.

    • @bigcuh5856

      December 6, 2024 at 12:47 am

he doesnt. lebron has more. this stat is false look it up

    • @youtubeisassho8834

      December 6, 2024 at 3:42 am

@@bigcuh5856Just did, and you lied. StatMuse has MJ with 4 more 30 point games than L-bron, which is partly why he averages 3 more ppg than him. Cope harder. 😂

      December 6, 2024 at 9:17 am

Wilt is the greatest scorer in NBA history.
Turns out history is important when talking about history.
(For reference, Wilt has 98 more 40-point games than Jordan, 87 more 50-point games than Jordan, and 28 more 60-point games. And a note on 60-point games: there have been 90 60-point games, and wilt has 32 of them.)

    • @NeilLewis77

      December 6, 2024 at 9:29 am

      @@nichodemus10no he isn’t.

Wild regularly choked in finals when asked to put up a big score.

Wilt was the greatest scorer when things were easy.

But when the going got tough, wilt couldn’t rise to the occasion like MJ..

  11. @bigcuh5856

    December 6, 2024 at 12:47 am

this is not even true. Lebron has 100+ more 30 point games then jordan

“No party is like a P-Diddy Party”, LeBron James (after he joined a “legendary” Party with the Diddler)

    Unbreakable records by Lebron:

3x betrayed his teams to join superteams
    5,000+ TURNOVERS (AND COUNTING)
20 STRAIGHT MISSED 3PT SHOTS STREAK
    120 Teammates Traded
    8 Head coaches fired
    3x Swept by opponents
14,485 Most Missed field goals (AND COUNTING)
    104 Most playoff losses
110 Most NBA finals freethrow missed
    33 Most NBA finals losses
    10 Most NBA allstar losses
Holds the record of most walkouts before the game ends.
The only player to get swept in 3 different decades.
Changed standard of sport that stats is more important than winning.

There’s the real reason why LeBron isn’t the goat he’s the woat in too many stats too!

4th place in all time assists, easily would’ve broken that record if he was a scorer

  16. @HoopmanX

    December 6, 2024 at 2:59 am

Their respectively different approach to winning and greatness shouldn’t diminish either Lebron nor MJ.

Just maybe Lebron’s approach to basketball games doesn’t need to score so much (as Michael did) to win games..

We can all clearly see that even though Lebron is an accomplished scorer in his own right, his approach to basketball isn’t to score a bunch of points himself, but rather to distribute the scoring to his teammates and distribute the defensive execution as well. Jordan and Jordan teams clearly put a whole lot more scoring responsibilities on MJ. No surprise MJ has more 30 points games still.

      December 6, 2024 at 4:01 am

Your entire premise is destroyed when you examine their respective W/L records, which you would expect to favor L-bron if your assumption that “sharing” makes one a better player.

      Logic is hard, eh?

The facts are simple. MJ was literally 1v5ing far more defensively aggressive teams on the regular. LBJ dishes on poorly contested shots because he has no mid-range. Stats and video confirm both.

    December 6, 2024 at 3:28 am

The fact that this is even a debate is astonishing. As soon as Lebron retires he’ll be just a statistic to beat and get out of the way. MJ will always be the reference Era.

  18. @VikCain

    December 6, 2024 at 4:13 am

Is not about what Jordan did, it’s about what he didn’t do.
Take a chair, sit down and watch “the decision” from beginning to end, let it sink and then think about what actual greatness mean.

When it comes to all aspects of basketball(rebounding, passing, shooting, defense, etc.) it’s impossible to say Jordan is better than Lebron.

    • @muntasircooper2782

      December 6, 2024 at 8:57 am

Defense definitely, what?? How many times has LeBron been MVP, Finals MVP and DPOY?? Or all defensive team in the same year??

    • @muntasircooper2782

      December 6, 2024 at 8:58 am

Shooting isn’t even a solid argument for LeBron if we’re counting free throws and post ups, rebounding sure I mean the dude is taller and bigger so he should average more rebounds
