Chuck didn’t make up his mind because of this one game, it’s not an overreaction just what he thinks the west will look like this year. He’s wrong just as much as he’s right with those predictions (or maybe more?).
Jet thinks Klay will have open spaces now as if he didn’t play his entire career so far next to the guy who pulls more defenders than anyone in the league and as if SAS are the best perimeter defensive team.
The funny thing is that Klay might have a great season because he needed that fresh start without the baggage of what he used to be with the team he was on, and the Warriors might have a great season without him. He was weighing down on that team a bit, when he was in his head too much. It could end up being a both sides are better off and maybe we’ll even get a playoff series out of it. That’s what the script writers should do.
Mavs have the 2nd best player in the league + 2 solid, veteran role-player in Kyree and Kyle that can give you 15 points and some change but they lack a 2nd star player and they are wasting Doncic’s years ):
