I wish all this talk about what’s wrong with tatum would just stop man. It’s already old . Is he ridiculously talented offensively yes . But I dont think hes ever been as great as some people think. He takes alot of tough contested shots because he chooses too. Theres alot of times he gas back door opportunities for easy buckets and instead settles for step back jumpers. Jaylen brown imo is the better of the two better defender and when his shot isnt falling he finds ways to impact the game whether Its getting to the line playing defense getting others shots etc. Everyone always compared Tatum’s shot chucking to mamba mentality but that’s only a good thing if your actually making shots not making 10 out of 32 shots no wonder smart is saying the shit hes saying. Hes always compared to Brandon Ingram for some reason too and watching ingram this year I think his game as an individual talent is much more impressive if you look at his handling scoring ability passing ability and how much better hes gotten defensively this year plus it seems like he improves every year in big strides
