By the way, this run got larger for the Celtics…this was an eventual 28-3 run. Ouch. 😂😂

where has that defense been all year. That’s what got you to the Finals last year, and defense + the deep offense this year could be the difference. Get past Miami and take on the West team that are not the Golden State Warriors

I’m expecting to see Doc coaching like a team in a Qatar league in the next 3 years

Jason Tatum summoned Kobe 4th quarter of game six. Kobe stuck around for game 7.
Celtics played a great game, how about that Al Horford?

LMAOOOOOOO Joker > Embiid, Doc is overrated, Tobias Harris over HIM(jimmy), Brett Brown & Ben Simmons rare W, Harden not even better than Drexler all time. These notes after the game

Embiid just doesn’t have the right help around him to overcome that second round slump. JT has JB and plenty of other sharp shooters who can go off on any given night that’s why they are so dangerous! Outside of Embiid and Harden, Maxey was the only other consistent baller who tried to help the best he could. JT & JB just built an undeniable and beautiful chemistry together and they are both homegrown as for most of our team. Sixers are all different players who came together from different teams like the Rockets for example with JH and Tuck. All I’m saying is, with the right role players and maybe even a change of team/scenery for Embiid might help him overcome that burden of always getting bounced in the second round. Some players just aren’t built to carry a team.

Uh none of the Celtics have dedicated 3-ball shooters who shoot way above league average 3FG%. There is a smaller sample size with the playoffs but the Celtics as a group are shooting 39.1% 3FG% which is fine but nothing crazy. What matters is that their best players can get buckets when they need them. Tatum in game 6 had a big 11 point outburst in the 4th quarter to put his team over in a low scoring affair. In game 7 Tatum went nuclear scoring 25 in the half and then 51 to finish the game. Hell even last years playoffs Tatum was trading big buckets against Giannis in the Bucks series and Butler in the Heat series. What also helps is that the Celtics lineups can put the ball on the floor to make a play. So Tatum/Brown can screen or move off-ball to get matchups they want to score on. If anything Embiid and Harden put up great regular season numbers but clearly don’t have the ability to create offense when defenses amp up against them.

    UNCUT

Cuts out an entire offensive possession for the Sixers (I assume it was the whack on Brown by Embiid and then Brown taking technical shots before possession back). 😂

All due credit to Joe, done a wonderful job, in his first year, and competing with experience coaches like doc, wish You (Joe) All the Best, GSW are out of the run, they were the only hurdle, only Miami and Lakers to beat, can do it Joe, with A little Help and Inspiration from Above.

      May 14, 2023 at 11:40 pm

It’s an offensive foul on Tobias Harris(#12) for the screen he set on Tatum(#0). Look at what he did to tatum before embiid passed it.

I’m a diehard, to the grave, Boston Celtics fan. But also believe with all my heart that the skids have been greased for the Lakers to win it all. Mark my word, when you see this below average team lift the undeserved trophy. It’s going to happen, believe me.

As much as Tatum deserved the criticism for most of the series, he made up for it in game 7
