San Antonio Spurs forward-center Victor Wembanyama and Detroit Pistons guard-forward Ausar Thompson have been named the Kia NBA Western and Eastern Conference Defensive Players of the Month, respectively, for games played in March.

@latrelljones5453Good point with their respective roles being different but it outside of a slight edge on defense and a slightly better 3 point percentage I don’t know how anyone other than Pistons fans can say that Amen isn’t better at this point in their careers respectfully.

@smithclaxton3357honestly I watch him play a lot & he’s a real nice defender. I’m a knicks but but I love cade/Duren/Ausar, dude locked up Brunson last time they played. But I don’t really watch okc play so I couldn’t really answer that but dawg Detroit in general is a great defensive team. Cade is another real good defender just not on that lvl

@Bankai_Musashi7 Either way I think those 3 are the top 10 defenders in the league and I cant hate on anyone who puts them in any order. And as a detroit fan I really think the core of cade duren and ausar is going to go down in the history books as one of the best 3 man cores ever
