Most excited Ive been about a player in a long time. Im usually fans of guys like Joker, Andre Miller and Dirk ..people that get it done without elite atheticism. He jumps off the screen when you watch him. When you are by far the best/most freak show athlete on a court(and really in the league) of the best athletes in the world, that’s pretty special. There may have been guys that jump higher or run faster, but his fast twitch athleticism and lateral movement is bananas. He jumps higher off of a second tip like jump than anyone Ive ever seen and Im 47 and been a serious NBA fan for 40 yrs. I remember prime ‘Nique and young Jordan. He is as athletic if not more so in some ways. He does it ALL. Except shoot from range. Thats just mechanics and repetition, he can learn that. All he needs to do is make his jumper an average threat and defenses will be absolutely ruined trying to cover him. He’s like a five tool baseball player. Gonna be a top 10 player within 3-5 yrs, barring injury. Any shooting coaches out there wanna make a legend? CALL THE ROCKETS.
