In the friendly game they had not found their shooting rhythm yet. Their 3-points shooting was around 20%. In the tournament it has increased to 50% on average in 5 games. I think that might be the reason.

Nikola is awesome but a lot of players would post monster numbers if the touches were equalized. Alperen could be this dominant in the NBA but the Rockets play a different style of basketball.

This is for the fans that can only comprehend the game from the boxscore

This game was incredible and such a joy to watch. It should honestly be shown in basketball classes—both teams played with so much intelligence. Şengül showed amazing basketball IQ; the NBA has very few players with this kind of mind. We’re tired of highlight-chasers who only jump around for clips. We want more real basketball games like this one!

The only shame was that Bogi got out very early from competition and Avromovic got injury so couldn’t play second half and Tristan was out of roster and Vasa get small injury later during the game – I think game would be even better. Nevertheless it is amazing game for basketball couches and other people deeply involved in this sport to check how tactics works, to see also how game was this close when one time scored 18 times for 3 points and learn from it. Very great game from both teams hope to see both in final once again 😀

Well, small info for NBA fans, this was a game between local guys representing their country of Serbia on Euro Cup, and one like a generic NBA team, made by naturalized players from 6 different countries, including USA (Shane Larkin is the name) representing Turkey…

Turkey won, but there is no respect for them… Europe hooping culture is a little bit different…

    • @KenhanPasha

      September 4, 2025 at 12:42 pm

Yes, Alperen is also half Nigerian and half Japanese what a shame!

    • @St_just

      September 4, 2025 at 12:52 pm

Alperen is not, but, as a matter of fact there IS a Nigerian born player in national team of Turkey😂

    • @KenhanPasha

      September 4, 2025 at 1:01 pm

@@St_justyes, he is Nigerian BORN player who grew and played in Turkey in his childhood years, make the logic

      September 4, 2025 at 2:01 pm

pshhh, get outta here. I hear you on Larkin but that’s it. Bona lived in Turkey since he was 13 or something and he didn’t even contribute in this game. Turkish people born in other countries are still Turkish. Dumbest thing I heard all year. Don’t be a sore loser.

If Sengun continues to play at this level, he and KD will create so much floor spacing for one another! Not to mention the threat of Amen Thompson. Houston… we have a problem. A really good one!😁🤘🏾🚀
