This is a completely different 76ers team. Clawing back a win after being down almost 20 just goes to show how focused and capable they are this year. It takes a lot of grit and maturity to stay positive under those circumstances, and the fact that everyone rose to the occasion and never gave up is a testament to where their heads are all at. Not to mention, this wasn’t a fluke – they’ve come up clutch in all four of their games so far this season.
Considering Embiid is still on a minutes restriction and PG and McCain are still injured, when everyone is healthy, Philly is a serious contender.
Also, props to Bona for the huge blocks & put back down the stretch!!!

I love this team. We never give up no matter how much the odds are stacked up against us. However, I think we need to put more emphasis on defense.
We’re 2nd in the NBA in the Offensive Efficiency and 27th in the NBA in Defensive Efficiency. That’s not a recipe for success.

That’ll be the biggest factor with this team this year is if embiid and pg can adjust their roles and let the young guys lead the team during the regular season and pace themselves so they can be healthy for play offs

Maxey and Edgecomb have definitely been carrying us, but we should not shortchange Embiid and his contributions to this team. He’s been getting us off to good starts in the games we’ve played in and that should NOT be ignored!

Man, them Wizards vets were selling HEAVY in the end..would’ve been the best opportunity to test the young guns ability to finish games, but guess we need CJ and Khris dribble the clocks out and miss all the shots 😅

VJ kinda laid back tonight but still gave good defensive effort. Grimes was balling playing both ends of the court, But my MVP for tonight is Bona!! He gave the sixers the spark in the 4th and it with great defensive effort and blocks and rebounds ✅
This is a very good basketball team.
