CJ is so underrated by the media. But all the players know he is pound for pound all around amazing. They always give him pick respects! I always loved him especially when he played for Portland! Some nights he would show up Dame! But the media was so focused on Lillard there

This was a Pels team missing Ingram against a Sixers team who was at full strength. Most of what they’ve done this season has been with CJ playing his worst basketball since he won MIP in terms of scoring efficiency (he has been a great playmaker). They look like a championship team, just off how they show up every game like they’re supposed to win no matter who they’re playing. It’s the confidence you get from having a guy who can get you 26-30 every game off 60% shooting and role players who REALLY know their roles. This looks like CJ turning a corner and getting back to how he used to go off every other game in Portland. At this point I’d be more worried that Ingram’s return is going to throw them off, which is a great problem to have because you can just ease him back in.
